Modernization Stages”

Serampore College needs to grow into the 21st Century

with more effective ways to train and multiply leaders using

computers, distance learning methods, interactive media classrooms, communications training, and leadership curriculum.  

WCHF proposes to meet this challenge with the Serampore Computer Initiative connected with wireless broadband Internet access to the world’s finest online theological and educational resources while the WCCC is being funded and built.

Hundreds of William Carey’s priceless original journals, books and in many cases first-edition books that are nearly 200 years old are slowly deteriorating under harsh humidity and heat conditions in Serampore.  Help preserve this archive for generations to come by funding digital archival scanning and physical restoration of these treasures.

 Proposed AV Classrooms

The William Carey Heritage Foundation has entered into a developmental alliance with Bethel Seminary to produce top-quality, Indian contextualized  Leadership Development post-graduate distance learning courseware.  These courses will incorporate state-of-the-art techniques to offer 1-2 week face-to-face intensive orientations with the instructors on the Serampore College Campus with the remainder of the courses interactively conducted online.
